$65.00 Sold Out

Emberlynn was the daughter of a chimney cleaner.
They lived in London, on Pudding Lane, in an attic above a bakery that was cheap enough for her father’s income. She had beautiful red hair and always dressed in black, as any other color would get dirty with all the soot that her father brought home on his clothes. The smell of ashes was a constant reminder of her father’s occupation.
Hopes and dreams were restricted by reality and Emberlynn was no exemption. It was the affection and care of her father that made life bearable.
A tragedy was about to unfold... It was the midnight of the 2nd of September 1666. Her father was at work, as the coming winter required clean chimneys and there was a lot of work to be done.
She had gone to bed quite early that evening, but she could not sleep. Suddenly, she was startled by screams from below. She could smell smoke of a different kind than the one from heating devices.
She tried to climb down the ladder, but there was a lot more smoke rising so she could not escape…
At the same time, her father was just at the entrance downstairs, looking in dismay the flames from the bakery engulfing the building, rapidly reaching the attic.
Emberlynn was terrified and short of breath. She opened a window to look for a way of escape but to no avail. The only thing she could do was to hear her father, desperately crying her name.
Soon, the fires were consuming everything in the attic and poor Emberlynn was facing her untimely and painful death.
The following days the fire subsided and soon people could evaluate the human loss and material damage. Emberlynn’s father tried in vain to look for his daughter’s remains; the whole wooden building had collapsed, leaving no trace of its inhabitants.
Since then, there has never been a fire in the area. Rumor has it that every time a fire starts, a young girl with fiery hair and dark eyes appears, leading the people to safety while the fire quickly dies down. . .
